Study at the University of Cambridge:
An Open Day to be held in Prague
Follow in the footsteps of Czech students who pursued their studies in Jewish-Christian relations in Cambridge! Take an opportunity to discuss a Master of Studies in The Study of Jewish-Christian Relations (MSt) with staff from Cambridge at an open day on Wednesday 7 January 2009 at 14:00 at the main building of Filosoficka fakulta UK (Palachovo namesti 2, Praha 1), room 129.
About the MSt
The MSt represents a unique opportunity to study for a qualification at a university with a world-wide reputation for outstanding academic achievement and interdisciplinarity.
Students gain a Master’s level grounding in the study of Jewish-Christian relations with guidance on, and training in, research techniques. The programme combines religious, biblical, philosophical and cultural studies, with history, political science and international relations to explore the foundations and current state of Jewish-Christian relations and their place in a wider society.
This Master of Studies is offered by The Centre for the Study of Jewish-Christian Relations in conjunction with the Faculty of Divinity and the Institute of Continuing Education. The Faculty of Divinity accepts that the MSt includes sufficient training in research to count towards the minimum requirements of the PhD. It can be considered and treated as comparable to the first year of full-time doctoral work.
Students can study either in Cambridge or largely via e-learning. A number of student bursaries are available.
For further information, see http://www.woolfinstitute.cam.ac.uk/cjcr/courses/mst.php
